When we look at the night sky when there are no clouds, we should be able to see all the stars in the sky and the milky way galaxy. We are not able to see even a fraction of the stars in the sky beause of the glare from the city and artificial lights. Much like the powerful light of the Sun obscures the stars during the day the city lights do so at night.
When travelling in remote areas where there is no nearby city or lighting (such as from the top of mountains, where a lot of astronomical Telescopes are located, one is able to see the extent of the unlimited expanse of the universe, the millions and millions of stars in the sky and above all, our own Milky Way Galaxy.
What spiritualism is attempting to do is very similar to the effect of light and darkness on our visual senses.
Spiritualism is trying to take the noise out of the mind that is created by the environment in which we are born and the environment in which the physical body lives.
The noise that the mind is subjected to and experiences, completely blocks out the vision of the depth and vastness of our own inner self. Once this "noise" is eliminated, we will be able to shake off our dependance and attachment to this physical body in which we take birth, and transcend into a state of permenance.
Attainment of this state of permenance requires the noise to be subdued. When this happens, we, the observer, become situated in the SELF, which is the Paramathma.
Spiritualism has identified what these noises are, what are their causes and how to subdue them.
The Paramathma teaches us how to attain this state, by guiding us thru the material existence. Surrender of the control panel of the mind is the primary requirement of evolution.
We attempt to examine the teachings and the approach that we are required to take in evolving to a higher state of existence, in the following pages of this website.
