Canto 43
The various forms that the asura within us, takes is elaborated extensively in the Bhagavatham. Puthana takes on the form of a ravishing woman. Satakasura takes on the form of an inanimate cart. In Canto 43, the asura is Trinavatra takes on the form of a powerful typhoon.
The Paramathma demonstrates to the residents of Vraja, that even as a baby, He is all powerful and indestructible. His well being is always interpreted by the people as a direct protective intervention from above. Little do they suspect that the Paramathma has assumed the very form of the Child.
The slokams are a revelation of how we are living in a state of delusion, which limits our ability to see the hand of the Paramathma in our every move and action. We are unable to see the hand of the supreme in all manifestations.
The miracles of everyday life and all its manifestations are the very revelation of the Paramathma. When we attain the state of inner perception, when we see this hand in all objects of perception, we attain the state of liberation from bondage, which then propels us to eternity and peace.
May we ever see the hand of the Paramathma in all events, good and bad, pleasant and unpleasant, constructive and destructive.
May we ever live in a state of complete surrender with no expectation of reward and acceptance of all retributions, with equanimity.
