Slokam 9
Nandagopa, being oriented always to devotion to the Paramathma, offers thanks to the Supreme for saving “His” Child.
Nandagopa receives the Child in his arms and his thrill at the holding of the Paramathma makes the hair on his body stand erect.
We may not consider ourselves fortunate to be blessed to physically hold the Paramathma as a child in our hands. However, when it comes to devotion, we are privileged to be able to hold the virtual form of the Paramathma in our hands by fixing our consciousness on His form is in our hands.
The impact of holding Him virtually in our hands will have the same impact on us as it was on Nandagopa, when He holds the Paramathma Himself in His hands. Just as Nandagopa felt exhilarated on holding the Paramathma, we will ever feel happiness washing all over us that will keep us inspired and proactive in life. All evil/non-productive/depressive intentions within us will be swept away.
May we always hold the image of the Paramathma protectively in our consciousness to elevate our life and safeguard us from the evil forces of Kamsa
