Slokam 6
To the question as to what was behind the disaster, the boys assigned by Yashoda to guard the Paramathma, explained that the child being hungry was crying by kicking about His little feet. They explained that the impact of His little feet turned the cart upside down. They exclaimed “I saw this! I saw this!”
The Paramathma has shown His true self to the innocent children. There is clear message in the action of the Paramathma, in this slokam. His every move is made visible to untainted minds that are not under the illusion of Ahankara.
We see everything as it is when we are children. Being protected by our parents, we have no delusions, or fears. As we grow up, so does our ego, which entraps us into a fort that does not allow our consciousness to extend its reach beyond the self imposed walls of ignorance.
May we take down the walls that contains our minds in the fort of ignorance. May we ever extend our consciousness in the unbounded expanse of the universe.
