Slokam 3
Vasudeva tells Nandagopa, that many ominous signs are appearing and requests him to return to Gokula immediately. Right through Bhagavatham and Bhagavath Gita, the Paramathma goes into meditative postures to assess the messages of ominous changes that were in the offing.
Nandagopa rushes to Gokulam fearing dangers to the Paramathma and Balarama.
Dangers are ever lurking in this life. We are sub consciously ever seeking to detect and avert these lurking dangers that are waiting to pounce on us.
This is one of the ways we are encouraged by nature to look inwards for answers. We have heard of birds and animals becoming aware of impending storms and earthquakes, as well as attacks by natural enemies. Their information can only come from within themselves, since they cannot possibly be sensations.
The meditative aspect is not only useful in warning us of impending dangers, it isalso very useful in pre-emptinng them.
Using these ominous signs, Sri Krishna Paramathma, like Vasudeva, guides the village to new locations to escape the demons that are foisted on the innocent by demonic kings.
May we ever be in communication with the Paramathma within to guide us through the dangers that life keeps throwing at us.
