Slokam 8
Embarking on the journey through the universe, the Paramathma shows all the realms of the universe to the sages.
The grandeur of the scale and dimension of the creation is indeed phenomenal. The Paramathma can weave magic with His own self sustaining illumination. King Satyavrata extols the Paramathma in praise.
The Paramathma imparts to Satyavrata the true knowledge of the supreme soul. Knowledge has two aspects to it. The knowledge may be published, but it may be very difficult to comprehend. So although it is available few will be aware of the content and implication. The other aspect is that knowledge may not surface until it is revealed by the Paramathma.
Knowledge is never hidden. If it is known to one, it is available for all to know. However two conditions must be fulfilled. One is the extent of evolution of the seeker. The seeker must be ready to receive and digest the information. The other condition is that the seeker must have ascended the mind and be resident in universal consciousness. Spiritual knowledge can be imparted to and grasped only by pure consciousness and not by a worldly mind.
Knowledge of the supreme being is known only to the Paramathma Himself and He willingly shares it with elevated beings.
The Paramathma, as the creator, is the one with the complete knowledge of the universe. Just as the sages physically connect their boat to the Paramathma using the ropes, to enable Him to guide them through the turbulence, we have to connect to the Paramathma using the ropes of consciousness. Those ropes must be fastened at an early stage in life and the boat should never be allowed to drift away. It is very necessary that the ropes must be in place at the time of departure from this body
